The Cancer and Hematology Center of the Metropolitano Hospital has a group of medical oncologists who specialize in the systemic treatment of cancer, that is, therapies that are directed to the entire organism, either injected or orally. The oncologist uses chemotherapy, targeted molecular therapy, immunotherapy and/or hormone therapy to fight different types of cancer tumors.
